Information You Provide to Us

We collect information you provide directly to us. For example, we collect information when you participate in any interactive features of our services, fill out a form, request customer support, provide any contact or identifying information or otherwise communicate with us. Information We Collect Automatically When You Use the Services

When you access our website, we automatically collect the following information due to technical reasons:

  • Browser Information: Certain browser information which is transmitted to make this content work.

Additionally we use privacy-first analytics to be able to provide you a better experience:

  • Analytics: We use Matomo a privacy-first, GDPR compliant, non-tracking, non-cookie, self-hosted analytics tool. Matomo is creating anonymized unique identifiers which are used to track your usage of this site, identifiers are reset after 24h and on IP-Addresses or other personal data are stored.

Device permissions: Mobile platforms have permission systems for specific types of device data and notifications, such as location, camera and microphone as well as push notifications. Where applicable, you can change your settings on your device to either consent or oppose the collection of the corresponding information or the display of the corresponding notifications. Of course, if you do that, certain services may lose full functionality.

Uninstall: You can stop all information collection by an app by uninstalling it using the standard uninstall process for your device.

If you opt-in to receive commercial email from us, you may unsubscribe at any time by following the instructions contained within the email. Please remember, even after you opt-out from receiving commercial messages from us, you will continue to receive administrative messages from us regarding the Service.

Location Information

When you first launch any of our mobile applications that collect location information, you will be asked to consent to the application's collection of this information. If you initially consent to our collection of location information, you can subsequently stop the collection of this information at any time by changing the preferences on your mobile device. If you do so, our mobile applications, or certain features thereof, will no longer function. You may also stop our collection of location information by following the standard uninstall process to remove all of our mobile applications from your device.

Children

Locative is designed to NOT be used by children. The products we sell for purchase are meant to be used by adults. If you are under 18 (or under 16 in the EU), you may use Locative only with the permission and involvement of a parent or guardian.

Promotional Communications

You may opt out of receiving any promotional emails from us by following the instructions in those emails. If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional communications, such as those about your account or our ongoing business relations.

Your California Privacy Rights

California law permits residents of California to request certain details about how their information is shared with third parties for direct marketing purposes.
